Employee Assistance Program

Since 1978, Pine Rest has offered special services to local businesses in West Michigan to assist with their mental health needs. Our Employee Assistance Program, or EAP, is a contracted service which allow businesses to help their employees through personal concerns such as family and marital problems, work-related conflicts, substance use and dependency, communication difficulties, ADHD testing—for both children, adults, and more. More than 100 Pine Rest outpatient therapists live in and around the communities they serve.

A 2002 survey of EAP clients revealed 97% were satisfied with the treatment options available through Pine Rest EAP. It also revealed that all who used the EAP services would recommend it to others. Many individuals find their concerns are resolved within the EAP sessions, limiting the need to access health insurance benefits.
