Benjamin Santee, LPC
Benjamin attained a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology through Spring Arbor University in 2009. He went on to complete his graduate work at Spring Arbor University, finishing a Master’s of Arts in Counseling in 2014 and is now a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Benjamin has experience working with adolescents through older adults in both residential and outpatient settings. His primary area of expertise is grief and loss and trauma, but he has extensive experience working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, codependency, compulsive disorders and sexual identity issues.
Benjamin’s counseling orientation includes cognitive behavioral therapy, experiential therapy, motivational interviewing, schema therapy as well as interpersonal psychotherapy. He believes that all therapy should be based on principles of unconditional positive regard, empathic understanding, and genuineness. Ben is eager to help all his patients achieve their personal growth goals.
