Brie Walter-Rooks, LMSW, CAADC
Brie Walter-Rooks is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor working at the Pine Rest Northeast Clinic. She earned her BA in Psychology from Calvin College and her Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University.
Her most recent practice experience includes extensive focus on the impact of trauma on individuals struggling with substance use disorders and a diversity of mental health issues, including personality disorders. Prior experience includes work in the foster care system and with juveniles and adults involved in the criminal justice system.
Brie’s areas of expertise include the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, codependency, and sexuality issues. She practices individual, couple, family, and group therapy, and is passionate about working with individuals and families as they discover strength and healing.
