Cassandra DeGraaf, LLMSW
I have been working with individuals and their families as a limited licensed social worker since 2018. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from GVSU, then earned my Master’s degrees in Social Work as well as Public Administration. Following graduation, I took on a therapist role within Pine Rest working with adolescents in a secure residential setting and utilizing treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based techniques, anger management, family therapy, group therapy, mindfulness, and trauma informed practice.
I have a strong belief in the power of faith, prayer, and seeking counsel from those that have walked a similar path. I firmly believe that people are able to overcome significant challenges in their lives when given support and the tools to do so. I look forward to investing in the lives of individuals in the Grand Rapids community.
