Kelly Ahti, LMSW
Kelly is a licensed clinical social worker who enjoys working with children, teens and adults. She utilizes play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy concepts.
Kelly’s clinical background includes working with trauma and attachment issues in children and teens. She has extensive experience working with children, teens and adults experiencing grief, loss and life transition as well as adjustment to medical diagnosis and helping families navigate chronic and life threatening illness. Kelly’s areas of special interest include working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety and depression from early childhood to adults, working with women experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and helping families and parents navigate creating safety for LGBTQ youth.
Kelly received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Detroit Mercy and her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University.
