LuAnn Arnson, LMSW
LuAnn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University and her Master’s in Social Work from Western Michigan University. She has a certification in treating traumatic and acquired brain injuries.
Her background includes inpatient mental health, medical, home care, hospice, bereavement, and program development. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Western Michigan University School of Social Work. Her professional experience includes work with children, adults and older adults; in case management, individual and group treatment. Her emphasis is on companioning adults, older adults and families as they discover their strengths to heal.
Areas of practice include anxiety, depression, caregiver issues, dementia, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, low self-esteem, mood disorders, post traumatic stress disorders, chronic and acute medical conditions and their relationship to emotional well being. LuAnn is available for speaking engagements in the community on topics such as grief, loss and bereavement, and compassion fatigue and resiliency training for professionals and family caregivers.
