Mikhila Wildey, PhD
Dr. Wildey is a Licensed Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate work at Michigan State University. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at Pine Rest and has been working at the Northeast Clinic since her internship. She is currently an assistant professor in the Psychology Department at Grand Valley State University, but she continues to maintain a small and limited practice at the Northeast Clinic.
Dr. Wildey specializes in working with couples of all types in intimate relationships (e.g., dating, LGBT, married, older adult). Both her graduate research and training were focused in the area of couples work. She works with couples with a variety of presenting problems including those struggling with communication problems, lack of intimacy, affairs, pornography/sexual addiction, premarital issues, military couples and couples where one or both partners struggle with mental illness.
Dr. Wildey also works with adults individually on relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions/adjustments, anger management, trauma and chronic pain.
