Shelley Marinus, LMSW
Shelley is a Licensed Master of Social Work and has been working at Pine Rest since 2002. She has been providing mental health treatment in residential, long-term care, private practice and outpatient settings since 1990.
Shelley received her Bachelor’s degree from Marygrove College in Detroit in Dance and Psychology with a specialization in Dance Therapy. Her graduate training was at Hunter College in New York where she received a Master’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Dance/Movement Therapy.
Her special area of interest is in treating children and adults with dual diagnosis, a mental health disorder accompanied by a developmental disability. Shelley is a volunteer with the Special Needs Ministry at Calvary Church since 2002 as well.
