Pine Rest Grand Rounds is a behavioral health medical education tool being used to deliver high quality training to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, licensed professional counselors, psychologists and social workers. The presentations will present practitioners with state of the art, best practice or evidence based tools to improve the delivery of behavioral treatment within our communities.

    Navigating Critical Challenges through an Ethical Lens

    Ethics are more than guiding principles; they are foundations for practice.  This seminar will provide an overview of the Code of Ethics and explore the many slippery slopes in boundaries and dual roles, social engagement, use of media, telehealth, confidentiality, etc.  Focused attention will be on combating vicarious trauma as an ethical issue.  Opportunities to address stress and pain management will be included.
